After 25 years of active community programming and local performances, M-LISADA took on the initiative to record their debut Album, MY SONG. This Album is a collection of folklore repertoire re-arranged, scored and played on brass in combination with several Ugandan traditional instruments, resulting to arguably a new genre of music that has been named “Afri-Brass”. This project further introduces Ugandan repertoire to youth brass and jazz bands across the world through international tours and outreach educational programs conducted by M-LISADA Afri-Brass band.
